The Winter Maker Brooch
A wintry looking lampwork face forms the focal part of this
relic-type brooch. Measuring about 2.75", the "Winter
Maker" face is surrounded by clay decorations with
embeded golden beads, a seed bead headress and dangles,
and an ivory lampwork bead with symbolic snow falling from
it in the form of seed bead dangles. All of these are on
a back plaque, enclosed with the clay bezel, and the lok
is very ancient. Silver leaf finishes the back of this brooch.
It is a very mysterious!
